On the 14th of November, contestants from 16 countries came to Paris, in Saint-Germain-des-Près at the Hôtel de l’Industrie, to compete in the Bartenders Society 2023 International Final. 

This year, bartenders had to « Bring a local twist to a classic cocktail from the past».

Contestants were able to use Marie Brizard® liqueurs & syrups as well as Saint James Rhum and Caraïbos juices, enabling them to imagine very original cocktails.

Congratulations to Boris Blanc from Martinique who is the 2023 winner !

For his Creole Garden cocktail (with alcohol), he used the Grapefruit Marie Brizard Liqueur with an organic Saint James rhum, and with homemade flower syrup and some lime juice. For his non-alcoholic cocktail, the Mada Fusion, he used the Yuzu Caraïbos juice with the Ginger Caraïbos juice, mixed with combawa and coconut water.

Congratulations as well to Elis Chou from Taïwan for its 2nd place and Andrew Bartlett from Germany for coming 3rd ! A special for Chris Daudigny from Denmark, who won the public’s favourite award.
